Sealy & Co. JV acquires 14.8 acres for development in Houston

Sealy & Co. has purchased a 14.8-acre site in Houston with joint venture partner Investment & Development Ventures (IDV). The financial terms and seller were not disclosed.

The land parcel, located in Park 225, will be home to a 267,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art industrial facility to be developed by the pair with a fourth quarter 2022 expected delivery date.

Located at 4113 Greenshadow Drive in the Southeast Houston submarket, the property and future building benefit from direct access to the Sam Houston Parkway and the Pasadena Freeway. The Southeast Houston submarket is home to the Houston Ship Channel and the Port of Houston, the largest port on the Gulf of Mexico and the No. 1 U.S. port in total foreign and domestic waterborne tonnage. Park 225 will offer tenants flexibility in size and configuration, as well as ample trailer and auto parking.
