Sustainable Development Capital (SDCL), a specialist energy-efficiency developer and investor, has formed a strategic partnership with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation solutions.
The partnership will provide decentralized power solutions to companies across the United Kingdom and Ireland as part of SDCL’s Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) initiative. It will primarily focus on servicing heavy energy users, such as data centers, business parks, industrial sites and universities, at the point of use.
SDCL’s EaaS initiative improves access to sustainable energy solutions for end users through a “subscription” energy service, which removes the need for customers to find up-front finance or operate their own energy supplies.
