Schroders Capital breaks down ‘attractive investment environment’ for private markets in latest report

Schroders Capital has released its real assets outlook for Q3 2024, highlighting the attractiveness of private market investments that are aligned with the “AI Revolution” and the “3D Reset” (decarbonization, deglobalization and demographics).

Long-term trends such as AI are driving investment activity across private market strategies and boosting renewable sector demand, notably increasing electricity consumption for data centers, according to Schroders Q3 Real Assets Outlook. The energy-transition segment in infrastructure also is particularly compelling due to its strong inflation correlation and secure income traits, and renewable-related technologies such as hydrogen, heat pumps, batteries and electric-vehicle charging are expected to play a crucial role in facilitating the decarbonization of sectors such as transport, heating and heavy industries.
