SC Capital raises $365m for fourth fund
Singapore private equity firm SC Capital Partners has raised $365.5 million for its pan-Asia opportunity real estate fund series, Real Estate Capital Asia Partners IV, according to a filing with the SEC. RECAP IV aims to raise $750 million, marking the firm’s biggest fund.
The manager has sponsored the $221 million Real Estate Capital Asia Partners, a 2005 vintage fund, and $190.3 million RECAP II, a 2008 vintage fund. The firm’s third fund, RECAP III, closed with $530 million in 2012.
SC Capital Partners was founded by former Westbrook Partners executive Suchad Chiaranussati.
