Sandton Capital Partners allots £100m for infrastructure acquisitions

Sandton Capital Partners has earmarked £100 million ($130 million) for investments in the infrastructure sector.

The money will be invested in companies operating in the rail, highways, utilities and power sectors.

“The infrastructure sector is fundamental to the U.K. economy because it impacts so many areas of our personal and working lives, such as reliable transport links, efficient highways, energy generation and storage systems, and the provision of water supplies,” said Andy Pearson, executive chair at Sandton portfolio company VVB Engineering. “It has been poorly served with respect to investment for growth, and in response to this, Sandton is delighted to allocate £100 million to invest in businesses that require a timely, flexible capital solution.”
