San Francisco Employees commits $25m to CapRock’s third industrial value-add fund

The $30.6 billion San Francisco Employees' Retirement System (SFERS) has committed $25 million to the CapRock Partners Industrial Value-Add Fund III, a spokesperson for the pension fund confirmed in an email.

The CapRock Partners Industrial Value-Add Fund III will focus on the acquisition of middle-market, value-add industrial properties across California, Nevada and Arizona, according to CapRock Partners’ website.

SFERS has previously invested in CapRock funds, according to the pension fund’s media contact Bill Coaker.

In May 2020, the CapRock Partners Industrial Value-Add Fund III completed its first and second closings with more than $180 million of capital for the fund and co-investment vehicles from a variety of institutional investors, pension funds and family offices.
