Ramsfield Hospitality Finance (RHF), funds managed by AB CarVal, and Affinius Capital has closed a $230 million loan for the luxury Thompson Central Park New York hotel.
Gencom’s first acquisition in New York City continues to grow its portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts. The RHF and AB CarVal partnership has completed almost $3.75 billion of hotel debt and equity investments throughout the United States
The Thompson, a flagship property of Thompson Hotels by Hyatt, recently completed a $100 million renovation of the former Parker Hotel. This 42-story tower has 587 guestrooms, many offering views of Central Park. The property features more than 4,500 square feet of meeting space, the 6,500-square-foot Exhale Spa as well as multiple food and beverage outlets, including the Burger Joint.
Adam Maisel, a principal at RHF, said, “We are excited to provide acquisition financing for this luxury hotel in one of NYC’s most dynamic markets only steps from Central
