Parisian asset manager RAISE has launched a new €750 million ($810 million) infrastructure fund aimed at the decarbonization of European energy, telecoms and transportation sectors.
RAISE hired a team from EDF's investment arm to run the infrastructure strategy, according to Reuters.
RAISE Infrastructure will target unlisted companies where there is potential for transformation to a lower-carbon future. It could make investments through the acquisition of majority stakes in businesses or via special-purpose vehicles that provide financing for specific assets.
