Radisson Hotel Group opens new boutique hotel in France
Radisson Hotel Group is opening its first Radisson Individuals property in France’s Normandy region.
Located in the heart of the main square of Honfleur, Les Maisons de Lea is a boutique hotel composed of a main building dating back to the 16th century and five adjacent houses added later.
The hotel offers 43 rooms and suite with features such as Moroccan cement tiles, as well as bronze and brass accents. The houses include the Petite Maison, a 15th century house with three floors, and the Maison du Jardin, a former nursery school from the 19th and 20th centuries which now houses the property’s meeting and events space.
Honfleur’s picturesque views are featured in works of art by Claude Monet and his mentor Eugéne Boudin. The city’s old port, which is 150 meters (492 feet) from the hotel, was used for commercial and leisure purposes for centuries. The historic waterfront is lined with colorful café terraces, and restaurants, museums and art galleries s
