Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners to build 350MW solar PV project in England

Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition, has acquired the 350-megawatt solar PV project, Mallard Pass, in the East Midlands, England.

Construction of Mallard Pass is expected to begin in 2026 with operations to commence in 2028. Quinbrook and its affiliate, Private Energy Partners, will now proceed with detailed design, procurement and construction planning.

Mallard Pass represents Quinbrook’s second nationally significant infrastructure project after Cleve Hill Solar, the United Kingdom’s first NSIP, which is in the final stages of construction.
