Quebec is planning to inject C$6.8 billion ($5.4 billion) into more than 1,000 infrastructure projects in the province over the next two years.
Various Canadian news sources report the money will be used for 1,350 road, marine, rail and airport infrastructure projects between 2022 and 2024, representing C$2 billion ($1.6 billion) more than in 2019.
Of the C$6.8 billion ($5.4 billion), C$2.7 billion ($2.1 billion) will be spent to maintain structures in good condition, and C$1.5 billion ($1.2 billion) will go toward roads. Montreal will receive a little more than C$1 billion ($794 million) of the total).
