Quanta Capital, an Irish property investment fund backed by Oaktree Capital, has launched a new €300 million ($315 million) fund targeting sale-leaseback deals in Ireland’s logistics sector.
According to reports, the fund will acquire the properties from small and medium-sized businesses and will rent them back to the former owners. Quanta will take a flexible approach to lease terms and rents.
The firm expects the majority of the fund to focus on logistics assets but will also consider investments in the office and retail sectors.
Quanta has already seeded the fund with 12 deals this year, representing a total of €85 million ($89 million).
