QIC to acquire Australia’s largest operating wind platform, Tilt Renewables

QIC has agreed to acquire a 19.9 percent stake in Australia’s largest operating wind platform, Tilt Renewables, from AGL Energy Ltd., bringing its working ownership to 99.9 percent.

According to Ross Israel, QIC’s head of global infrastructure, the proposed acquisition strengthens the firm’s position as a market leader in Australia’s energy transition.

Tilt owns and operates a 1.9-gigawatt diversified platform across 12 assets and has a high-quality development pipeline exceeding 1.6 gigawatts, which are scheduled to progress to the final investment decision phase in the next 12 months.
