QIC appoints three independent directors of Renewa

QIC has appointed energy industry veterans Mark Noyes, Peter Tumminello and Natalie Jackson as independent directors of portfolio company Renewa.

Renewa is a renewable-energy land and infrastructure investor that buys land, ground leases and royalties to help landowners attain financial security. With a presence in more than 30 gigawatts of projects and $450 million of committed capital, Renewa has one of the most diversified land exposures to U.S. renewable energy. The company owns one of the largest independent portfolios of land-under-clean-energy projects in the United States.

QIC first invested in the platform in 2022 and has since witnessed Renewa achieve several important growth milestones and significantly expand its portfolio. Renewa owns land and ground leases under more than 130 renewable energy facilities across the country, acquiring land in 26 states under projects operated by more than 50 developers, including Acciona, Duke Energy, Enel, Leeward Energy,
