Prostar Capital, a private investment firm focused on mid-market energy transition infrastructure in OECD Asia Pacific, has hired Daniel Han as head of Korea.
In this new position, Han will be responsible for establishing Prostar’s Korea office and leading the firm's clean-energy investment activities in the country. He will report jointly to Dave Noakes and Steve Bickerton, Prostar's senior managing directors.
A veteran investor with more than a decade of experience in the Asian and Korean infrastructure and energy sectors, Han was most recently with the Macquarie Group, serving as Korea lead for Macquarie Asset Management Green Investments. As a key founder of Macquarie's Korean renewable-energy principal investing business, Han was instrumental in delivering the firm’s first greenfield solar, wind and battery storage investments in the country.
