With the proptech revolution under way, never before have institutional real estate investors been able to harness so much information about potential acquisitions or dispositions, and in real-time to boot.

Moreover, investors are able to monitor building or portfolio performance against useful financial and operational metrics much more effectively than hitherto, thus assisting asset managers who are not only acquiring and operating holdings, but also selectively culling them. These days, institutional property investors, in Europe and across the globe, are relying on proptech wherever capital is involved — whether that be in negotiations to buy or sell a building, or in the development of a property, or in managing assets.
