Prologis and Performance Team launch Southern California’s largest heavy-duty EV charging depot

Prologis and Performance Team — A Maersk Company — have launched Southern California’s largest heavy-duty electric vehicle (EV) charging depot, powered by the nation’s largest EV truck microgrid.

Located near the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the Denker charging depot will have the ability to charge up to 96 EV trucks simultaneously. Prologis and Performance Team constructed the facility within five months. Performance Team will be using its fleet of Volvo VNR Electric trucks, which have a range of 240 miles and can charge up to 80 percent in 90 minutes.
