Alternative investments are rapidly transforming global wealth management, as private markets move from niche offerings to core portfolio allocations. Wealth managers are expanding access to private equity, private credit, infrastructure and real assets to meet rising demand for diversification, resilience and long-term returns. This structural shift is also strengthening revenue models by reducing reliance on traditional market-linked investment fees, according to GlobalData, an intelligence and productivity platform.
