Singapore-based Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has plans for a greenfield development in Jakarta, Indonesia, near the firm’s existing data center JC1.
The new 22-megawatt data center will be named Jakarta Cibitung 2 (JC2) and is part of PDG’s plan to expand its footprint to serve its customers’ needs in the booming Indonesian digital economy.
According to PDG, the greater Jakarta area is experiencing increasing adoption of cloud-based services, among consumers, businesses and government. Indonesia is also home to some of the fastest-growing startup companies of Southeast Asia.
