Portfolio Advisors has raised $50 million for its latest Portfolio Advisors Real Estate Fund VIII a month after bringing it to market.
According to a Form D filed with the SEC, two investors have committed to the closed-end fund, which has not disclosed a fundraising target.
Like its predecessor, Portfolio Advisors Real Estate Fund VII, the vehicle will invest in secondaries, primary and direct co-investment transactions in the private real estate sectors in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Fund VII closed in January 2020 with $237.6 million in capital commitments; and the previous fund before that, Fund VI, closed in 2017 with $485 million.
