Polish industrial market is only one in Europe to grow year-over-year

Gross demand in the Polish industrial market was 2.2 million square meters (23.7 million square feet) in first half 2020. This is the best result for the first half of the year in the market’s history, reported JLL.

New leases and expansions accounted for nearly 1.7 million square meters (18.3 million square feet), which is a 30 percent improvement year-over-year. This means Poland is the only country in Europe to have seen net demand growth.

Gross demand, which does not include short-term contracts, was 2.2 million square meters (23.7 million square feet) and a record result for the Polish industrial market for the first half of a year. In turn, new leases and expansions were up 30 percent on first half 2019, closing with nearly 1.7 million square meters (18.3 million square feet).
