Pioneer Point Partners has acquired OG Clean Fuels, an owner and operator of clean fuels filling stations in the Netherlands, from ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund and a fund managed by Meewind. Financial terms were not disclosed.
OG began in 2008 as a supplier of compressed biomethane (bio-CNG) for passenger cars and vans in the Netherlands. The company’s strategy has evolved to target the heavy goods vehicles market, including providing on-depot filling stations with volumes secured under long-term offtake contracts.
OG operates and has under construction nearly 30 on-depot stations that provide bio-CNG refueling for heavy goods vehicles. Customers include DHL and EDEKA in Germany and major bus companies in Sweden.
The company also has 325 filling-station locations that offer bio-CNG, liquefied biomethane (bio-LNG), EV charging, hydrogen and liquid biofuels across Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden and Italy. OG purchases biomethane, green power and green hydr
