Pine Gate Renewables and Brookfield close $300m loan facility

by Released

Pine Gate Renewables has closed a $300 million loan facility with Brookfield Asset Management through its infrastructure debt platform.

The financing solution will be used to accelerate a geographically diverse set of assets across development, construction and operation. The maturity of Pine Gate’s assets aligned with the flexible structure of the facility as the company looks to unlock additional value from its pipeline of projects. Pine Gate said partnerships with premier institutions such as Brookfield are critical to scaling the company’s operations as an independent power producer.

“Collaboration is a core value at Pine Gate and one of the driving forces behind delivering sustainability at scale,” said Meghan Comiskey, executive vice president of structured finance. “This new partnership with Brookfield exemplifies our superior ability to attract and deploy capital from top-tier organizations.”
