PIMCO Commercial Real Estate Debt Fund, a closed-end fund managed by Pacific Investment Management Co., has raised more than $1.2 billion from 77 investors, according to an SEC Form D.
With an initial target of $1 billion, the fund will invest in mortgages, CMBS and mezzanine loans across the United States.
PIMCO Commercial Real Estate Debt Fund has taken on a number of small investments since last August, when the Newport Beach, Calif.–based firm recorded $1.18 billion from 63 investors. At that filing, the fund had nearly doubled in size from the year prior.
PIMCO manages investments across the full spectrum of asset classes.
