PFA Asset Management selects new CEO

by Kali Persall

Denmark-based PFA Asset Management has appointed Irene Holmslykke as CEO, effective Sept. 1, following the retirement of Christian Lindstrom Lage, who recently stepped down from the role after 12 years.

Holmslykke joined PFA Asset Management in January 2019 as executive director, head of risk, investment processes and valuation for alternatives, fund accounting and operations.

Holmslykke brings more than a decade of experience in a number of positions in the investment industry, including roles at Danske Bank and Danske Markets. Since joining PFA, she has been responsible for building a structure around PFA’s increased focus on unlisted investments. In her new role, she will focus on the management and development of the firm, while investment responsibility will be further “anchored” by the investment teams.

“I am very happy that Irene Holmslykke has accepted the job as the new CEO of PFA Asset Management,” said Kasper Lorenzen, PFA group CIO and PFA
