by Kali Persall

PERENfra, a Colorado-based company that invests in, acquires, develops and operates water infrastructure, has brought a private investment fund focused on core water infrastructure assets to market.

With a target size of $125 million, Perennial Infrastructure Fund I aims to provide investors with income and long-term capital appreciation through investments in safe, sustainable and efficient water solutions. The fund focuses on unique opportunities that are sole sourced, which improves efficiency as well as the timeline to develop and construct much-needed infrastructure.

PERENfra said the fund has successfully closed multiple limited partner commitments and is seeking to be fully subscribed by early 2025. The fund’s initial limited partners include various U.S. family offices.

The initial investments are supported by long-term contracts to finance, design, construct, own and operate six new water and wastewater treatment plants.
