Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System (Penn PSERS) has launched an RFP in search of private markets consulting services and investment back-office services.
The solicitation comes as current consultant Hamilton Lane nears the end of its contract on Sept. 14. The firm is invited to rebid.
Penn PSERS considers private equity, private commodities, private real estate, private infrastructure, and in-house co-investment and secondary programs related to these asset classes under the private markets umbrella. The private markets consultant would assist the pension fund with these asset classes.
The pension fund originally issued an RFP for private markets investment consulting services in January; however, IREI understands that search was shelved for technical reasons.
Proposals for the new RFP are due Aug. 8.
