Partners Group and Citivale, a regionally based asset manager, developer and operating partner for commercial property across the United Kingdom, have launched a joint venture and debuted a £100 million ($124 million) warehouse project.
The partners launched Greenbox, a platform that will provide new-build industrial and logistics schemes with market-leading environmental credentials. Greenbox Thirsk, a development of three warehouse units in North Yorkshire, will be the platform’s debut scheme. Greenbox Thirsk is in an established distribution and manufacturing hub. The site has outline planning consent for up to 825,000 square feet of manufacturing and logistics space, with units ranging from 182,000 to 365,000 square feet. The platform’s assets will achieve BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, and target net-zero carbon in construction.
It is scheduled to be ready for occupation starting in third quarter 2024.
