by Andrea Zander

The Paramount Group has emerged as the next owner of the 275,017-square-foot 111 Sutter Street office building in San Francisco, acquiring the property for $227 million.

The building, also known as the Hunter-Dulin, is 25 stories, 308 feet tall. It was completed in 1927.

One of the current tenants at the property is the former owner of the asset, Ellis Partners, which purchased the historic building from its Japanese owner in early 1999. Ellis Partners completed a comprehensive redevelopment, including a complete building system upgrade, core renovation and seismic upgrade at a total cost of more than $23 million.
