The Orange County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System (OCERS) has invested $50 million in EnCap Flatrock Midstream Fund V, an energy, oil and gas fund managed by EnCap Flatrock Midstream (EFM).
EFM makes targeted venture capital investments in the midstream management teams. EFM also is exploring opportunities to participate in the transition to a lower-carbon future, including blue and green hydrogen, renewable natural gas and carbon capture.
The closed-end infrastructure fund has a target of $3 billion.
