The $17 billion Orange County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System (OCERS) has allotted $75 million for the latest fund marketed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners, IREI has learned.
OCERS backed the $10 billion Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund IV (SIF IV), which invests across the infrastructure spectrum in sectors such as renewable and gas-fired power generation, utilities, midstream energy, communications, water, and transportation assets.
The fund was reportedly in the process of holding a second close on more than $8 billion in capital commitments in early August.
As of June 30, OCERS had a 12.3 percent actual allocation to real assets, against a 17 percent target. The portfolio was valued at $2.1 billion.
OCERS could not be reached to comment on the investment at the time of publication.
