The $17.7 billion Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F) has recorded a 9.2 percent return for 2020, following a fourth quarter performance review presented by general investment consultant Wilshire.
According to Wilshire, OP&F’s allocation to Midstream Energy Infrastructure, which turned in a dismal –23.4 percent for 2020, put downward pressure on the total portfolio’s return.
However, the report also showed that OP&F outpaced its policy benchmark for the three-year (8.23 percent vs. 7.58 percent), five-year (9.95 percent vs. 9.18 percent) and 10-year periods (9.10 percent vs. 8.11 percent).
