John Gallagher, executive director of the $17 billion Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F), has announced his impending retirement, which will take effect on July 1, 2021.
The OP&F chair, Stephen Corvi, has appointed a committee to conduct a national search process for Gallagher’s successor.
“The highlight of my time has been working with an incredibly experienced team of professionals committed to funding the retirements of Ohio’s first responders,” said Gallagher. “I have no doubt that the board and senior staff will continue the good work during the search for a new executive director.”
OP&F assured that retirees will not be affected by the transition.
