The $10 billion Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System has rehired Verus Advisory as its investment consultant, said executive director Joseph Fox in an email.
The decision was made at the pension fund’s Jan. 19 board meeting. Oklahoma PERS issued an RFP in November because the current contract was nearing expiration.
As of Sept. 30, 2016, the pension fund had a target asset allocation of 44 percent U.S. equities, 32 percent fixed income and 24 percent non-U.S. equities.
