Latin America telecom operator Oi Group has accepted a bid from Brazillian financial institution Piemonte Holding for a portfolio of five data centers, according to Data Economy.
Neither the bid amount, nor details about the portfolio, were disclosed.
According to Data Economy, the deal now awaits approval by creditors before it goes through a judicial bid.
Founded in 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Piemonte Holding is an independent and digital financial institution with more than R$120 million ($22 million) in assets. It was created as an investment boutique initially focused on mergers and acquisitions, as well as other strategic consulting services.
