The School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS) has committed $135 million to two infrastructure funds: ITE Diversified Transportation Asset Fund and Global Infrastructure Partners Fund V, according to meeting materials from February’s board meeting.
ITE Diversified Transportation Asset Fund, a vehicle of ITE Management, received up to $60 million in commitments. The open-end, infrastructure fund focuses on transportation and industrial assets. A fundraising goal has not been determined.
GIP Fund V, a program of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), received up to $75 million in commitments. The closed-end fund focuses on energy, transportation and water/waste sectors. It has a fundraising goal of $25 billion. Its predecessor, GIP IV, closed in 2019 with $22 billion in equity raised, which was $2 million above its initial fundraising goal.
