The $18.14 billion Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F) has unveiled a $80 million commitment to iCON Infrastructure Partners VI, marking the first of 2022 on behalf of its real assets portfolio.
iCON Infrastructure Partners VI, managed by iCON Infrastructure, will invest in diversified infrastructure facilities, power and utilities, and transportation among other opportunities in Europe and North America.
OP&F has previously invested in the fund’s predecessor, iCON Infrastructure Partners V, which closed in March 2022 with more than $1.9 billion of commitments. iCON’s investors include renowned institutions from the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada, the Middle East and Asia.
OP&F said its targeted commitment range for closed-end real assets funds in 2022 is $120 million to $200 million and up to $150 million to open-end real assets funds.
