Ohio Police & Fire commits up to $50m to Greystar fund

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has committed up to $50 million to Greystar Equity Partners IX, according to recent meeting documents.

The value-added fund, which launched in late 2015, focuses on multifamily assets throughout the United States.

The pension fund previously committed $50 million to Greystar Equity Partners VIII in 2014. Fund VIII held a final close of $800 million in June 2014.

OP&F has a 12 percent target allocation to real estate and an actual allocation to the asset class of 11 percent.
