Octopus Renewables Infrastructure Trust is planning to acquire a portfolio of five solar photovoltaic projects in Ireland, marking the company’s first acquisition in the country.
Located near Dublin, the portfolio of assets has a capacity of up to 250 megawatts, according to Renewables Now.
Octopus is expected to pay between €138 million ($162 million) and €145 million ($170 million) for the assets, which will be partially financed by a debt facility. The seller is Statkraft Ireland.
The acquisition is expected to reach completion in the second half of 2022.
