Octopus Energy Group has announced the appointment of Amir Orad as the dedicated CEO for Kraken, an end-to-end platform for utility digitization and transformation.
Kraken, part of Octopus Energy Group, is contracted to serve 54 million energy accounts around the world through license agreements with global energy giants. Kraken’s clients include Octopus Energy, Severn Trent, Tokyo Gas, Origin Energy, EDF, E.ON, Portsmouth Water Good Energy, Hanwha, Cuckoo and Energy Queensland, as well as dozens of large utilities that use its services in flexibility, grid management and more.
Orad, who has more than 25 years of experience in scaling global technology businesses, was chosen as Kraken’s leader following a global search.
