The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has committed $310 million to real estate funds, including funds managed by Artemis Real Estate Partners and SDS Capital Group.
Artemis Real Estate Partners Healthcare Fund III, a closed-end, value-added fund, invests in healthcare, senior housing and medical across debt and equity in the United States. The fund received $300 million and aims to raise $2 billion in equity. The Jacksonville (Fla.) Police and Fire Pension Fund, Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund and California State Teacher’s Retirement System have all committed to the fund in recent months.
