Northern Trust Wealth Management has appointed Beata Kirr as CIO of global family office (GFO).
Kirr will oversee investment strategy for GFO, leading portfolio construction and delivering investment insights to ultra-high-net-worth families and family offices. GFO is the fastest-growing segment of wealth management, serving more than 550 clients with an average net worth above $1 billion.
Kirr most recently served as managing director and chief impact officer at The Copia Group, a direct lending private credit firm. Prior to Copia, Kirr spent 17 years at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, including as co-CIO and national managing director.
