by Jody Barhanovich

The $11.4 billion North Dakota State Investment Board committed $140 million to ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund II, according to David Hunter, executive director and chief investment officer.

ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund II is managed by I Squared Capital, a New York–based independent global infrastructure investment manager focusing on energy, utilities and transport in North America, Europe and select high-growth economies.

The fund will invest in brownfield, energy, renewable, transportation and utility assets globally.

The fund’s predecessor, ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund, held a $3 billion final close in 2015.
