Nordea Asset Management, one of the largest asset managers in the Nordics with a global presence in Europe, the Americas and Asia, has launched a new real assets fund, Nordea 1 — Global Sustainable Listed Real Assets.
The fund, which is Article 9 compliant, aims to invest in listed real assets with a focus on environmental and social stewardship and technological innovation, according to Investment Week. It is led by Jeremy Anagnos, portfolio manager of Nordea’s existing listed infrastructure fund.
“Real assets form the backbone of every economy, enabling economic and social development,” said Anagnos. “These companies generate positive social, environmental and economic impacts, such as contributing to greenhouse gas emissions reduction, revitalizing disenfranchised areas and improving access to services.”
