Niels Bodenheim has been named head of alternative credit at NN Investment Partners, a Netherlands-based asset manager. He will report to Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen, chief investment officer at NN IP.
Bodenheim will oversee the firm’s $40 billion alternative credit platform, which consists of infrastructure debt/project finance, corporate debt, residential mortgages, commercial real estate lending and ECA/government loans.
Prior to NN IP, Bodenheim worked as a senior director – private markets at bfinance and held various executive roles at GE, where he worked for 14 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Penn State University.
Bodenheim will step into his new role on Jan. 13, 2020.
