The New Mexico Educational Retirement Board (NMERB) has extended the infrastructure consulting contract of CBRE Caledon Capital Management for another four years, according to a November board meeting document.
The pension fund could not be reached for comment.
The pension fund selected CBRE Caledon as its specialized infrastructure adviser in 2011, following a request for proposal process.
The board was seeking to further develop its infrastructure investment program by growing its existing fund portfolio and complementing it with infrastructure co-investments.
CBRE Caledon agreed to work with NMERB on an advisory basis to manage and grow the existing infrastructure fund portfolio. It also created a customized separately managed account to invest in co-investments and minority direct investments.
