NIPSCO and Capital Dynamics to deliver 200MW of solar in Indiana

Northern Indiana Public Service Co. (NIPSCO) and the Clean Energy Infrastructure (CEI) business of Capital Dynamics have signed a build-transfer agreement to bring 200 megawatts of solar energy to Indiana.

Construction on the Elliot Solar project, located in Gibson County, Ind., is expected to begin in summer 2022, and commercial operations are expected to begin in summer 2023. Capital Dynamics will construct the project, and NIPSCO will enter into a joint venture once construction is complete.

“Capital Dynamics is proud to further expand our presence in Indiana and contribute to the state's ongoing energy transition,” said John Breckenridge, head of clean energy infrastructure at Capital Dynamics.
