Nexamp has completed two energy-storage projects, colocated with existing Nexamp community solar farms in Massachusetts, in an effort to advance the company’s buildout of a cleaner and more resilient regional power grid.
The projects include Brockelman Road, a solar-plus-storage project capable of generating 1.7 megawatts of solar energy alongside 1 megawatts of battery storage; and Clark Road, a solar-plus-storage project with 7.1 megawatts of solar capacity and 3 megawatts of storage. The battery-storage projects will provide critical frequency regulation services for the ISO New England market in addition to other grid functions.
