New York Life to receive new CEO in March

New York Life, America's largest mutual life insurer, has named Naïm Abou-Jaoudé as CEO of its global investment management business, New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM).

Abou-Jaoudé is currently the CEO of Candriam, a global multi-specialist asset manager with $149 billion of assets under management and one of New York Life's largest investment subsidiaries.

Abou-Jaoudé has had a distinguished 30-year career in investment management, including 16 years as the CEO of Candriam, one of the fastest-growing asset managers in Europe. At New York Lie, he will be responsible for NYLIM's global multi-boutique operation, with offices in the United States, the United Kingdom. Europe, Asia and Australia. He will step into the role of CEO at New York Life on May 1.
