New York City’s Office of the Comptroller is seeking an infrastructure investment officer in Infrastructure Investments, according to a recently released job notice.
The investment officer will be tasked with helping to oversee the investment activity for the infrastructure investment program for the city’s five pension systems, which have a portfolio of $208 billion in assets under management. This portfolio is managed primarily by external investment managers and is largely invested in publicly traded securities, with a growing allocation to infrastructure, according to the City of New York.
Working under the head of infrastructure investments, the investment officer also will be responsible for evaluating prospective investment opportunities, managing the portfolio of existing investments, designing criteria for research analysis and monitoring investment developments with general partners.
